From Our Family To Yours
The Farm On Main started the same way a lot of meaningful things do… not as a business plan, but as something built for family. Tom and Jessica Scangarello, Long Beach Island locals and owners of Bay Avenue Plant Company, purchased this 20-acre property in 2016 to support their growing business. What began as a space for composting and family farming slowly turned into something more. They renovated the iconic “Little Blue House” on the property, creating a warm, welcoming home for their family. Today, that same space lives on as The Farmhouse, where our brides spend their wedding day mornings.
As their friends and family started celebrating life’s biggest milestones here, it became clear this place had a different kind of energy. It felt special, like it needed to be shared.
In September 2023, The Farm On Main officially opened its doors to the community, and since then, it has become a space where couples near and far can experience something that’s increasingly hard to find: a wedding venue that feels entirely their own. One wedding per day, 20 acres to themselves, and a setting that naturally brings people together.
The Farm isn’t just a rustic wedding venue in New Jersey, it’s a place that grew organically, rooted in family, and designed with intention. It’s where your story gets the space to unfold and where your forever after begins.

From ceremony to reception, these two spaces work together to create a natural flow to your day. The Pond offers a peaceful, open-air setting to say your vows, while The Forsythe Barn carries that energy inside for a reception that feels warm, inviting, and alive from the moment you walk in.

The Greenhouse and Orchard
Just steps from The Pond and Forsythe Barn, these spaces offer a more intimate, tucked-away feel. The Greenhouse is filled with soft natural light and an indoor-outdoor atmosphere, making it a perfect option for a rainy day ceremony. Right behind it, The Orchard provides a scenic backdrop that pairs seamlessly with your al fresco “I do’s” in The Greenhouse.

The Starlight Barn is the most rustic corner of our property, full of character and charm. Just outside, the patio lined with grapevines and framed by red barn doors creates a serene setting that’s perfect for a first look or portraits.

The Horse Stable is one of the dreamiest spots on the property, especially at sunset. As the sun drops behind the paddocks, it creates that gorgeous golden hour glow. And if it fits your vibe, our horses are always ready to make an appearance.

Marcela is our Lead Wedding & Events Coordinator at The Farm On Main. She brings a wealth of experience from her time working in public relations with powerhouse beauty and fashion brands including J.Crew, Maybelline, Target, and David’s Bridal. Since joining our Farm family, she has been the heart and soul of seamless event execution. Whether it’s an intimate social event or a full-scale wedding, Marcela’s ability to juggle countless details with grace and her ever-present smile ensures every event feels as special as the love stories and milestones they celebrate.
A natural problem solver with an eye for detail, Marcela goes above and beyond to make each occasion unforgettable. From orchestrating vendor relationships to managing client communications, she’s the calming force behind the scenes - transforming complex logistics into effortless experiences.
