Last year, we hosted our first open house called The Spring Showcase. It was a great afternoon! We had an amazing turnout even with the rain, couples got to meet some of the best vendors in the area, and it did exactly what a traditional showcase is meant to do.But this year, we want to take it a step further. Instead of just introducing you to vendors, we wanted to show you what your wedding day could actually feel like.Golden Hour at The Farm isn’t just a walkthrough or lazy lineup of tables. You’ll experience the property as it transitions into cocktail hour time, and as the sun sets, you’ll step into the energy of a reception.You’ll move through the space the way your guests would. You’ll grab a drink, try some mouth-watering apps being passed around, and find yourself meeting your future vendors.There’s no pressure or script, just a really clear sense of what your day could be here. We’ll start where your day typically begins. Out by The Pond, we’ll have a mock ceremony setup complete with benches and our arbor, so you can actually picture the moment. Ceremonious Strings will be playing live, creating that quiet, emotional atmosphere that makes a ceremony feel real. It’s not just something to look at; it’s something you’ll feel.

A Cocktail Hour You Can Actually Picture

From there, you’ll naturally move into cocktail hour. Out on the side lawn, you’ll find yard games like cornhole set up and ready to go. It’s relaxed and social; the kind of setting where guests grab a drink, move around, and settle into the in-between moments that often end up being favorites.

Food and Drinks, Done the Right Way

Sunny Rae’s Kitchen will be passing appetizers throughout the property, just as they would on your wedding day. And Set The Bar will be serving cocktails from the bar, so you can experience the natural flow of service. It’s a small shift from the typical showcase setup, but it changes everything.

Reception Energy in the Barn

As the night builds, you’ll step into the Forsythe Barn where DJ Rob Beats will be bringing that reception energy; the kind where you can already picture your dance floor filling up before the night even begins.As you move through each part of the property, you’ll notice how the energy shifts from one space to the next. Ceremony to cocktail hour to reception, each moment with its own tone, its own pace, and its own purpose.
