a wedding day (and love story) in full bloom

Some weddings have a color palette. Ashley and Mark's had a whole mood, and it was unfiltered, full-bloom spring.

The morning started with champagne on The Farmhouse porch swing, Ashley surrounded by her girls in their coordinating pajamas and their moms wrapped in matching robes. It was the kind of getting-ready moment that sets the tone for everything, unhurried, and full of the people who matter most. Ashley stepped into her strapless lace gown and emerged glowing, garden-inspired bouquet in hand with hot pinks, peaches, oranges, lavenders, and butter yellows that looked like it was pulled straight from our property itself.

Mark, sharp in a sand-colored three-piece suit with a bold navy tie, waited at The Starlight Barn for his first look at Ashley. The grapevine-draped exterior provided a backdrop so lush it barely seemed real. Mark turned around and that smile said everything.

The ceremony was held outdoors at The Pond, where the arbor was adorned in an explosion of color: bold reds, oranges, blues, and creams, setting a vivid stage for their "I dos." The sound of Ceremonious Strings filled the air as guests took their seats for the ceremony. Ashley and Mark exclaimed “I do,” and sealed the deal with a kiss. As they made their way back up the aisle, Mark dipped her into another kiss so cinematic the crowd erupted. That recessional energy carried straight into cocktail hour and never really let up.

“The Farm on Main was the second venue we toured, and we knew we didn't need to look any further. From the moment Tom showed us the property, we could picture ourselves getting married there. The grounds are absolutely stunning and impeccably maintained. Both the reception space in the barn and the outdoor ceremony by the pond were beautiful and created such a picturesque setting. The Farm on Main isn't your typical wedding venue... it has so much character, charm, and warmth, making it feel like a one-of-a-kind place to celebrate such a special day.

Throughout the planning process, communication with Marcela and the Farm on Main vendor team, especially Stephen from Sunny Rae's and Sue from Set The Bar, was always easy. They answered all of our (many!) questions and made us feel supported every step of the way.

When our wedding day finally arrived, it truly was the best day ever. Getting ready in the Farm House was the perfect way to start the day, and everything flowed so seamlessly from beginning to end. The entire team made us feel completely taken care of, allowing us to be fully present and enjoy every moment. The venue was breathtaking, the food and drinks were incredible, and every detail came together perfectly. Our family and friends still can't stop talking about the food and how much fun they had!

Thank you to everyone at The Farm on Main for giving us the most special day. We are so grateful for the memories we made and couldn't imagine celebrating anywhere else.

P.S. the chocolate chip cookies are the BEST ever.”

Inside The Forsythe Barn, family-style dinner brought everyone together around our farm tables the way a great meal always does. The surprise mother/daughter dance, kept perfectly secret right up until the moment it happened, stopped the room. Three parent dances in total, each one its own story. Speeches from the father of the bride and the couple themselves rounded out an evening that felt deeply personal from start to finish.

And then came the espresso martini tower. Ashley and Mark poured it together near the fireplace, coupe glasses cascading all the way down. Honey Bloom Bakery's sweetheart cake and dessert spread waited nearby, and the night wound down just the way it should: slowly and sweetly, due in large part to those sea salt chocolate chip cookies.

Ashley and Mark, wishing you a happy farm forever after!
