a May wedding day made forever
If you've ever wondered what a perfect spring day at The Farm On Main looks like, Sammy and Brian's May wedding is your answer. Sammy stepped into her day the way the season itself arrived, full of color, warmth, and effortless beauty. Her lace gown, cathedral veil, and a bouquet bursting with lavender, peach, orange, and cream blooms from Wildflower Florals set the tone for everything that followed. Brian, all smiles in a classic black tuxedo, looked like he couldn't believe his luck, and honestly, same.
Before the ceremony, the two of them shared a first look on our walking path, a quiet, shaded stretch that felt like it was made for a moment exactly like this one. On a warm May afternoon, tucked beneath a canopy of green, it was the kind of pause that lets everything else fall away.
Their ceremony in The Greenhouse was everything an outdoor "I do" should be: lush, intimate, and flooded with the kind of natural light that makes every photo feel like a painting. The arbor, dressed in colorful blooms and greenery, framed their first kiss with the orchard stretching out behind them. Officiated by Brian's sister-in-law Lisa, the ceremony carried that rare quality of feeling both personal and timeless.
“My husband and I got married at The Farm this past May, and we truly could not have chosen a more perfect venue for our wedding day. From the moment we booked, the team was incredibly professional, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our vision come to life. Every detail was handled with care, which allowed the planning process to be smooth, and our wedding day to be relaxing and joyful. I wish I could go back and relive this exact day a million times over.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning. The charm, beauty, and atmosphere created the perfect backdrop for getting ready, our ceremony, and reception. Our guests are still talking about how gorgeous the property was, how delicious the food and drinks were, and how smoothly the entire event flowed.
What stood out most was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was flawless, and even made every interaction personal. They anticipated our needs, joked around with our bridal party, and acted as a true support system when needed in the moment (which makes all the difference).
If you're looking for a wedding venue that combines breathtaking scenery, outstanding service, and an unforgettable experience, The Farm On Main is IT. My husband and I are beyond grateful for the memories we made there and would recommend this venue to any couple without hesitation (especially if LBI holds a special place in your heart).
Thank you, The Farm on Main Team -- Tom, Reagan, Stephen, Stephanie, Erin, Sue, and Marcella -- for helping make out wedding day everything we dreamed of and more!”
After the ceremony, the property did what it does best. The orchard, the horse stable at golden hour, our 20 acres, Sammy and Brian took it all in, and the camera caught every bit of it. That sunset photo by the fence, our horse Chex looking on like a proud guest, is the kind of image that stops you mid-scroll.
Inside The Forsythe Barn, the reception was full of the details that make a wedding feel like them: beach badge signage, sailboat table numbers, disposable cameras on the tables, fig fizzes and peach basil bourbon smashes at the bar, and a sweetheart cake from Honey Bloom Bakery that was as beautiful as it was delicious. Three heartfelt speeches, a formal champagne toast, and a dance floor that didn't quit rounded out a night nobody wanted to end.
Sammy and Brian, thank you for choosing The Farm On Main for your forever day. Wishing you a happy farm forever after!
