Karlie + Peter | MARCH 28th, 2026

sweet Church vows followed by a fun farm party

The morning started early, with Karlie and seven of her closest getting ready together, hair and makeup courtesy of Just Braggin’, the mood somewhere between calm and giddy. Someone popped champagne in the middle of it, robes still on, laughing before anyone’s hair was even done. Peter kept it simpler on his end, a charcoal three piece with a vest and skinny tie. The two of them had their first look outside near at The Starlight Barn, and neither one tried to play it cool about it. Peter’s reaction to seeing Karlie in her gown honestly made us teary-eyed.

By 12:30, the couple and their wedding party hopped on a shuttle and left for the church. Their ceremony was perfect: vows, rings, a first kiss; what else could you ask for? They came back out to a crowd of friends throwing confetti on the steps, which is always a good sign for what’s coming next.

Back at The Farm by early afternoon, the portraits took over. The light that day was doing something special, golden and low, which made for a run of photos along the paddock fence that are going to be hard to top. They climbed onto The Farmhouse porch swing for a few, posed in front of out vintage blue truck parked out front The Starlight Barn, and took some lovely portraits inside The Greenhouse, where the hanging chandeliers and string lights made for a soft, warm backdrop. Down at The Pond, their two sons, both in matching mini suits, joined Karlie and Peter on the dock for family photos and were, unsurprisingly, the best part of that whole set.

When guests started arriving, cocktail hour kicked off! Cocktails were flowing, apps were being passed, and a keyboardist played to the crowd. After cocktail hour, guests found their seats with the help of a mirror seating chart propped near the entrance, and the florals from Wildflower carried the day’s rust, cream, and sage palette through the centerpieces and the bud vases on the high tops, which Karlie and Peter had actually put together themselves.

Dinner in The Forsythe Barn went family style, big platters passed down long tables, nobody waiting around for a plate. The cake, a soft white buttercream with little wooden Mr. and Mrs. arrows tucked into the top tier, was baked by Peter’s mom, which is the kind of detail that means more than any bakery box ever could. Twilight Entertainment brought a full seven piece band for the reception, and from the first dance on, the floor in The Forsythe Barn did not clear out. Between the band and the photobooth running most of the night, there wasn’t a lot of standing around.

By nine, the shuttles were back and guests were heading out, but the dancing had done its job. Karlie and Peter got married in a church and partied on a farm, and somehow both halves of the day felt exactly like them.
