HOT PINK, DEEP BLUE, AND A GLOW STICK FINALE

Nicole had ten women getting ready with her that morning, and from the look of it, not much of that time was spent sitting still. Mimosas were poured before anyone had their hair done and at some point Nicole wandered out near the paddock in her white lounge set just to say hello to one of the horses. Right before the ceremony, in full hair, makeup, and dress, she threw in a set of bicep curls with a pair of dumbbells, because apparently even wedding day adrenaline doesn’t override a gym habit that strong. Dennis had eleven guys with him on the other side of the property up in The Loft, deep blue suits going on over white shirts, his dad fixing his tie before anything else got underway.

They did two first looks that day, which meant two rounds of reactions worth watching. The first was with her bridesmaids on the porch, all of them in a pretty teal, Nicole’s dress already on, a lace trumpet gown with a low back and a train that moved like it had somewhere to be. The second was with Dennis, out at The Starlight Barn, grapevines thick over the red doors behind them. He turned around and his reaction was priceless.

Portraits took them all over the property that afternoon, including back out to The stable, where one of our horses made a second appearance, this time posing for photos with both of them like it had done this before. The wedding party, turquoise dresses and cobalt blue suits, took over the lawn for a run of group shots, kids and all, flower girl included in a tulle dress that moved exactly how a flower girl dress should.

“Where do I begin! My now husband and I got married on 8/29/26. It was such an incredible experience from the day we toured to the day of our wedding! The venue is absolutely stunning, the staff was fantastic and the food was outstanding!! Shout out to Tom, what an awesome guy! He was always checking in to see if we needed anything.

The food was 10/10, if you are looking for fresh, farm to table vibes sunny raes really nails it! Stephen and Stephanie were so helpful with working through the menu options and didn’t hesitate to make a special request for the bride :)
Set the bar is also incredible, Sue is phenomenal! She was so helpful and such a joy to work with! I HIGHLY recommend the farm on main, it was a magical wedding!!”

The ceremony happened down at The Pond, under an arbor dripping in fuchsia, burgundy, and deep orange florals, big and a little wild in the best way. Nicole’s brother officiated, her dad walked her down, and twenty minutes later they were walking back up the aisle through a cloud of bubbles from a bubble gun send-off that had the whole crowd laughing.

Cocktail hour kept guests’ fists full of Aperol spritzes, Arnold Palmers, and espresso martinis while the Snappy Trails photo booth camper sat parked outside catching anyone who wandered over. Dinner in The Forsythe Barn went family style down our wood tables dressed in sage runners and greenery, with menu cards to match. Taylor and David gave the maid of honor and best man speeches, Nicole’s dad added his own, and the first dance that came before went to “Love Me” by Fia before the two of them pulled their parents in for their own dances right after.

The cake, a soft sweetheart shape with N and D and the date piped across the top. Nicholas Creamery rolled in with their ice cream cart to round it out, which is about the best way to end a hot August reception. But the real turn of the night came once the lights went down and the glow sticks came out. Leis appeared out of nowhere, a nod to the honeymoon waiting for them in Hawaii, and the dance floor filled completely. From the look of every single photo after that point, nobody on that floor was thinking about sitting down again. Wishing Nicole and Dennis a happy Farm Forever After!
